Material Circulation Association Finland promotes knowledge of material circulation, circular economy and proper treatment of waste in Finland. It is a general-purpose organization open to all persons and organizations involved in circular economy and waste management.
The Association was founded in 1987 by representatives of the State, municipalities, industry, waste management firms and consultants, research and training centers, and citizens’ organisations. The Material Circulation Association Finland aims to cooperate extensively with environment authorities and organizations. A national Material Circulation Conference is held annually.
